Rim Protector Installation Guide

Part 1: Pre-Installation Preparation

Initial Disassembly

Remove the original wheel cap and the center emblem (if present).

Base Lock Installation

Step 1: Screw the bolt into the nut a few turns until it is flush with the nut's interior.

Step 2: Align the nut's four clips horizontally with the wheel's center hole and tap the bolt to snap the clips into place.

Step 3: Screw the bolt all the way in and perform an initial check by gripping the center lock and pulling outward to confirm the base is secured.

Rim Protection Film Application

Step 1: Wipe the edge of the wheel clean with a towel.

Step 2: Prepare the film strip (cut length and peel backing) and stick the first strip onto the outermost edge of the wheel.

Step 3: Press the film firmly to expel air.

Step 4: Apply the remaining three strips, leaving a small gap between them, until the entire circumference is covered.

Part 2: Wheel Cover Main Body Installation and Securing

Cover Mounting

Step 1: Snap the locator into the back of the wheel cover.

Step 2: Align the locator's clips with the "I" shaped opening on the secured nut.

Step 3: Press the wheel cover onto the wheel until it is fully flush.

Final Tightening

Step 1: Tighten the main bolt by hand, then continue using the hex wrench.

Step 2: Hold the wheel cover down with your hand while tightening to prevent the wrench from slipping.

Step 3: Stop tightening when the bolt can no longer turn.

Part 3: Final Inspection and Maintenance

Step 1: Shake the installed wheel cover left and right.

Step 2: Pull the wheel cover outward to confirm it is completely immobilized and secure.

Step 3: Periodically re-tighten the bolt as needed based on vehicle usage.
